Technip has won a contract from Repsol Investigaciones Petroliferas to develop two fields 50km off the east coast of Spain.
Under this contract, Technip will deliver engineering, supply, installation and pre-commissioning services to develop an 11km flexible pipeline system connecting two production wells to the Casablanca platform.
Technip will also set up a pumping manifold, umbilicals and flying leads provided by Repsol.
Technip said that it will carry out offshore installation before mid-2011 using a deepwater construction vessel.
The work will be carried out at Technip’s operating centre in Paris and pipelines will be fabricated at the group’s plant in Le Trait, France.
