CNOOC Offers 13 Offshore Blocks for 2010

China National Offshore Oil Corp, parent company of offshore oil and gas specialist CNOOC, has announced the first batch of its 2010 tender of 13 offshore blocks in the South China Sea. These blocks, in water depths between 18m and 300m, cover an area of 41,713km², the company said

These blocks, in water depths between 18m and 300m, cover an area of 41,713km², the company said in a statement.

All the blocks have undergone 2D seismic work, and some have had exploration wells drilled.
