OGUK to hold finance online business finance seminars

By Matthew Farmer

Offshore trade body Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) will use a series of online seminars to advise members on the financial support available during the Covid-19 pandemic.

OGUK supply chain director Matt Abraham said:

“Many companies in our industry, especially in the supply chain, are still financially fragile after the previous downturn so the UK Government’s commitment to supporting both workers and companies is very welcome.

“It’s now crucial for us to ensure these companies understand how they can effectively access the money they need to maintain their cash flow through these challenging times.”

The first seminar will be on 9 April, and focus on furlough support for workers. The following session will look at business loan options.
