US crude oil prices break $0 mark before recovery

Over the past 24 hours, the price of US crude oil briefly fell below $0.

Specifically, the US’ benchmark contract for delivery of crude in May fell a long way on Monday. On the New York NASDAQ exchange, the final worth of crude oil on Monday was -$37.63.
