Valaris to cut 332 jobs

By Matthew Farmer

UK-based drilling firm Valaris has issued plans for 332 layoffs, as contracts for its rig fleet remain in short supply.

Energy Voice reported it has seen a document confirming the plans for cuts to workers of Ensco Services Limited, a Valaris subsidiary.

Last week, Reuters reported Valaris could face bankruptcy. The company will present its quarterly results later today.
