GE Oil & Gas has won two contracts worth $120m to supply equipment for Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering drillships operating off the shore of Brazil.

GE will supply a blowout preventer stack and controls system, which will be installed on a Petroserv-owned drillship for oil and gas production activities.

The firm will also supply two complete drilling packages to be installed on Odebrecht Oil & Gas-owned drillships, each including a 10,000ft riser system and blowout preventer stacks and controls.

GE plants in Houston, Texas, US, and Singapore will jointly manufacture the equipment for these orders, with deliveries scheduled until November 2011.
