Cue Energy Resources has completed the acquisition of the Zeebries 3D seismic survey in the WA-409-P and WA-359-P permits of the Carnarvon Basin, offshore Western Australia.

The surveys were operated by Apache Northwest as a part of their farm in to WA-409-P and WA-359-P.

Apache has agreed to acquire 1,000km² of 3D seismic data over both permits for a 40% of interest returns.

Cue has a free carried interest through the seismic survey and a 15% free carried interest in the optional well in both permits.

In case of Apache’s failure to drill a well in any one of the permits, Cue will get its original 50% interest in both permits free of cost.

Cue also holds an option to retain 20% of the interest in both the permits by paying 5% of the optional well cost.

The seismic survey is part of the exploration activity campaign for Cue in the Carnarvon Basin.
