Lundin Petroleum has resumed production at its Alvheim and Volund fields off the coast of Norway following two weeks of maintenance work.

Marathon Petroleum carried out preventative maintenance works on the Alvheim FPSO’s fire prevention system for 13 days because the vessel was unable to generate enough water.

The floater has now resumed normal operations and output.

Lundin holds 15% and 35% working interests in the Alvheim and Volund fields, respectively.
