Technip has secured a €40m subsea installation contract from Maersk Oil North Sea for the recovery and repair programme at the Gryphon field, which is located north-east of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Technip vessels Skandi Arctic and Wellservicer will be used to install 15 dynamic risers, two dynamic and two static umbilicals, 11 flexible flow lines and subsea equipment.
The project will enable the company to restore the subsea infrastructure of the Gryphon field, where production was stopped due to a storm earlier this year.
The project will be completed in the second quarter of 2012.
