Neptune Marine Services has announced a new round of contract awards valued at about $20m for a range of blue chip clients including Woodside Petroleum and BHP Billiton.
The contracts include fabrication, testing and loadout of subsea J and E spools and linked installation cradles and spreader beams for Woodside Petroleum’s Greater Enfield area project 09.
The contracts contribute further to the $55m in new and extended activity announced in April 2009.
The contracts also include construction support on BHP Billiton’s Pyrenees oilfield development utilising the Neptune Trident DP2 vessel.
Neptune Marine Services’ managing director and chief executive officer Christian Lange said that the present and future pipeline of opportunities across the global Neptune Group were very encouraging, particularly in light of the global economy.
