Oil services group Expro International Group has secured a multimillion dollar contract from Tullow Ghana to provide subsea, well test and data acquisition services on the Jubilee Phase 1 development field.

Expro International will offer a subsea deepwater intervention completion landing string with the use of electro-hydraulic technology, operating from a fifth-generation dynamic positioning rig.

The subsea and intervention work on the Jubilee Phase 1 field will last 30 months.

Expro International has also received the data acquisition and surface well test clean-up work contract from Tullow.

“This is a technically complex project that will utilise Expro’s market-leading deepwater well completion technology, which has a proven track record for safe and reliable operating performance in some of the most challenging environments across the world”, said Expro International’s operations director Robin Mair.
