China Petroleum Engineering Construction Corporation (CPECC) has secured seven engineering procurement and construction projects in Sudan’s Oil Block 6 worth $260m.

The seven contracts won by the China National Petroleum subsidiary include the expansion of a power plant and installation of a power grid system, reports.

The contract also covers work on the Jake flow station, FNE flow station, CPF station expansion project and oil well development.

In addition, CPECC will also construct two oil storage tanks, each with a stockpiling capacity of 50,000 cubic metres, the news service said.

CPECC has already commenced the design and raw material purchasing for the seven contracts.
