Petrofac‘s Offshore Engineering & Operations business has won a £100m five-year contract to supply maintenance services in the North Sea from BP.

Petrofac will provide integrated maintenance management support services covering the planning, arrangement and implementation of maintenance work for all of BP’s UK offshore properties and the onshore Dimlington plant.

Managing director of BP North Sea Bernard Looney said the North Sea is a major part of the company’s global business and BP’s target is to sustain investment over the next ten years.

“This has been the third contract to be awarded out of our £1bn portfolio of key contracts to be announced over the coming months,” Looney said.

Petrofac’s Offshore Engineering & Operations business MD Bill Dunnett said the company is investing in sustained growth across its UK and international offshore service business.
