ODIM has secured a NKr23m ($3.87m) deal from “K” Line Offshore for the delivery of two automated overhead launch and recovery systems for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
The systems will be fixed on two big AH12-type anchor-handling vessels, developed by STX Norway Offshore.
The units are scheduled for delivery in the third and fourth quarters of this year.
The ODIM LARS system, which is designed for offshore vessels, is suitable for ROVs used in water depths of 4,000m.
ODIM has previously delivered ODIM AHF anchor-handling frames and rope reels for the same vessels to “K” Line.
ODIM mainly handles the engineering and production of automated handling solutions for the offshore oil and gas, naval and power-generation sectors.
