Oil and gas commissioning company Qedi has won seven new contracts worth £5.5m, setting the path to increasing its growth target for 2010.

The company, which has headquarters in Aberdeen, UK, said it anticipates a growth rate of up to 40% this year, and is already on target to achieve more than 20% of this.

Qedi has won contracts from BP, Lundin, Marathon, Talisman and BG Group for its Go Technology web-enabled project management system.

The company said it has also won two multiregional licence agreements with BP, under which a Qedi engineering team will support technical integrity and data migration.

Qedi managing director Stuart McLeod said the company is already involved in more than 40 major oil and gas projects in Australasia, Caspian, Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, West Africa, Europe and the North Sea.

The company has reported more than £38m ($59.32m) in turnover last year.
