Norway’s oil production fell to a preliminary 1.85 million barrels per day on average in May 2010 from 1.89 million in April, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has announced.

Production of natural gas liquids and condensate fell to a preliminary 335,000bpd in May from 356,000bpd in April.

Gas production rose to a preliminary nine billion cubic metres in May from 8.5 billion cubic metres in April.
