Oil prices fell to just over $75 a barrel today aided by a strong dollar and abundant petroleum inventories.

For September delivery US crude fell 11¢ to stand at $75.31 a barrel at 00.15 GMT, reports Reuters.

Data from the Energy Information Administration revealed crude stocks rose to 1.13 billion barrels last week while petrol fell by 39,000 barrels and distillate gained 1.1 million barrels.
