Vietgazprom Joint Operating has discovered natural gas and condensate in the Bao Vang field, offshore of Vietnam.

The company said gas is flowing from the the VGP-113-BV-3X well at 104,500m³ a day, while condensate flow is 7.32 m³ a day.

The company has also started drilling another well in the field at a depth of 160m, reports Dow Jones Newswires.

Vietgazprom is a joint venture between Russia’s Gazprom, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, PetroVietnam Exploration Production and Gazprom Zarubezhneftegaz.
