Oil prices fell below $82 aided by a strong dollar and China’s economy slowing in the third quarter.

For December delivery US crude fell 57¢ to stand at $81.97 a barrel by 05.57 GMT, while London Brent crude dropped 45¢ to $83.15, reports Reuters.

Data from the Energy Information Administration revealed crude oil inventories rose last week by 667,000 barrels, while petrol added 1.2 million barrels.
