Saipem has won new offshore contracts worth €700m ($982m).
In Nigeria the company was awarded a subcontract for the Critical Crude Pipeline Replacement Project. The scope of work includes the fabrication, transportation, installation and testing of six pipeline replacements that connect six platforms in an offshore field.
Other contracts include the construction of a gas pipeline for UTE ACS Cobra Castor in Spain, and a deal with Nord Stream to lay the Nord Stream twin gas pipelines across the Baltic Sea between Vyborg in Russia and Greifswald in Germany.
All the work under these contracts is expected to be completed by 2012.
