Oil prices fell to $82 aided by a stronger dollar and expectations of an unexpected gain in crude stockpiles.

For December delivery US crude dropped 39¢ to stand at $82.13 at 02.47 GMT, while London Brent crude was down 25¢ to $83.29 a barrel, reports Reuters.

Crude stockpiles are forecast to rise to 1.4 million barrels, while distillates are expected to drop 1.9 million barrels and petrol to rise by 500,000 barrels, a Reuters poll revealed.
