IHS, a source of critical information and analytics, has launched a decision support tool iPad app for energy professionals called IHS Connect.
The product, developed by IHS in partnership with emerging technology provider Tigerspike, allows global energy decision makers to view IHS energy information, analytics and research through a single mobile interface on the iPad.

The IHS Connect app demonstrates the exploration and production work flow in the oil and gas industries, enabling smarter and informed decisions.
IHS vice president of product management Edouard Tavernier said the company will combine business information, research and analytics that are unavailable anywhere else with the "intuitive and fun" user experience of the iPad.
"Mobility combined with a flexible interface is critical to making content relevant at the point of use – in board meetings, client discussions or on the road," said Tavernier.
"It enables timely and well informed business decisions."
