Oil firm White Rose Energy will drill an exploration well next year at block H in Equatorial Guinea following its farm-in agreement with PA Resources.

The agreement allows for the advancement of the exploration activities in the Aleta prospect, which is located on the block.

The current period of the production sharing contract was extended to February 2013.

White Rose Energy Ventures holds a 48.75% interest in the block, Atlas Petroleum International has 25%, Roc Oil (Equatorial Guinea) Company owns 20% and PA Resources (through Osborne Resources Limited) holds 6.25%.
