A total of 19 contracts were registered in the midstream segment of Europe during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 21 contracts.


In terms of the number of contracts in Europe, the upstream segment contributed the most with 143 contracts in November 2022, followed by midstream and downstream segments with 19 and seven contracts, respectively.

In November 2022, Greece, Norway and Russia led the activity with three contracts and a 16% share each of the midstream oil and gas contracts in Europe. It saw an increase of 50% over the previous month’s total of two contracts and an increase of 50% when compared with the last 12 month-average of two contracts in Greece.

Based on 12-month moving average of the contracts in the midstream segment of Europe, Russia took the top spot with six contracts, followed by the UK and Greece with three and two contracts, respectively.
