US-based Vaquero Midstream has commissioned its Caymus I Natural Gas Processing Facility in Pecos County, Texas.
The company recently completed construction of a UOP Russell 200 MMcf/d cryogenic processing plant on 330 acres, which allows for future expansions of four additional 200MMcf/d processing trains.

An electrical substation with direct connection to a 138kVA transmission line operated by Vaquero offers the plant continuous power service.
The plant features oversized inlet liquids, inlet compression to reduce field pressure, amine treating, propane refrigeration, and dual drive residue compression.
The new plant has the flexibility to handle the Avalon, Wolfcamp and Bone Spring shale formations for future drilling.
Caymus I is supplied by about 80 miles of a high-pressure gathering pipeline system, comprising 30in and 24in pipe connecting Pecos, Reeves, Ward and Culberson Counties to the facility.
