KBR and Subsea 7 have agreed to team-up to deliver concept and front-end engineering and design (FEED) services to the global offshore oil and gas industry.
As part of a co-operation agreement signed, Granherne, the wholly owned subsidiary of KBR, will support Subsea 7 on concept and FEED studies, with Subsea 7 supporting Granherne by providing it with its subsea engineering and technology.

The alliance, which will use the existing resources of the two companies, will operate on a global basis and can engage with clients to offer them with better solutions during the important concept evaluation phase of a project.
It will also enable KBR and Subsea 7 to collaborate in the execution phase of offshore projects.
According to KBR, the partnership decision will be based on a clear and differentiated value proposition to the client on a project-by-project basis.
