Primoris Services subsidiaries Rockford Corporation and Alaska Continental Pipeline have received contracts worth $50m for the construction of pipelines in the US states of Pennsylvania, Wyoming and Oregon.

Rockford was awarded a contract to construct 15 miles of a 16in-diameter natural gas pipeline in the Marcellus shale region of Pennsylvania.

The company will also install a cross-country pipeline, 28 directional drills and five road bores.

In another contract, Rockford will construct 53 miles of a 20in carbon dioxide pipeline near Casper, Wyoming, as part of a 230-mile pipeline project from the Lost Cabin gas treatment plant in Fremont County, Wyoming, to Bell Creek Field in Montana.

Alaska Continental won a contract to install a 7.3 mile section of a 20in natural gas pipeline near Mollala, Oregon.

All projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2011.
