Shell Eastern Trading is to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Osaka Gas under a long-term supply agreement.
Under the sales and purchase agreement, Osaka Gas will receive up to 800,000t of LNG per year for 25 years beginning in April 2012.

The LNG will be supplied from Shell’s global LNG portfolio.
The initial five years of the 25-year term is a firm supply agreement, while the remaining 20 years is subject to a final investment decision about the Prelude LNG project under development by Shell in Australia.
