Sinopec has updated the gas reserve potential of its Xinchang gas field in south-western Sichuan province, China.
The firm has added 121.12 billion cubic metres of proven geological natural gas reserves at the field, according to Reuters.

The find, located 4,500m to 5,300m underground and across 900km2, was certified by the government in April 2010.
