Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and PTT Public Company signed the biggest long-term LNG export contract in the third quarter of this year, according to a report by GlobalData.

Titled ‘Q3 2017 Long-Term LNG Contracts Review – Anadarko and RasGas Sign Most Export Contract Volumes in the Quarter’, the report provides a brief overview of the LNG contracts signed during the quarter.

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation will supply 2.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG from Mozambique to Thailand for 20 years between 2022 and 2042, under the agreement.

The second biggest contract signed in the quarter was RasGas Company’s deal with Bangladesh Oil Gas & Mineral to supply 2.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG from Qatar to Bangladesh for a period of 15 years between 2018 and 2033.

The contract signed between Qatargas Operating Company and Botas Petroleum Pipeline was the third biggest of the quarter. Qatargas Operating Company will supply 1.5mtpa of LNG from Qatar to Turkey, as part of the three-year contract, starting from the end of 2017.
