As per the deal, UOP Russell customised the gas processing plant for the West Texas location.

The plant comprises a modular design that is directed at reducing project schedules.

Honeywell UOP Russell business director Craig Ranta said: “EagleClaw has chosen to go with UOP Russell for its last three plants – totalling 600 million cubic feet per day – due to excellent project execution and service offerings, and the advantages of integrating EagleClaw’s existing fleet of UOP Russell plants.

“We’re delivering a customised plant to match the rich feed gas composition in the basin, while the high NGL recovery makes EagleClaw more competitive capturing contracts from producers.”

The objective of the plant is to recover natural gas liquids from natural gas.

Cryogenic gas processing plants function by cooling natural gas until NGLs covert into liquids.

The process will result in the formation of liquids, including propane, ethane and butanes, which can be used as fuels, fuel blending components and other petrochemicals.

Utilising the plant, EagleClaw intends to process the NGL-rich gas in the Permian’s Delaware Basin.

The services offered by the company include gathering, compression, treating, processing and transportation.
