The company has reached long-term transportation agreements with three crude oil producers operating in the region to carry their products on the proposed pipeline.

These producers have made a combined minimum volume obligation to book a total capacity of 40% of the system. They have also committed acreage dedications totalling 450,000 acres.

The proposed system is intended to gather crude oil production from the Clearwater formation in Marten Hills.

It is expected to deliver blended crude oil to an existing third-party takeaway pipeline that serves the hub and refining market in Edmonton.

The company noted that the system will receive condensate from a third-party pipeline and deliver it to production batteries for diluent blending.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Rangeland Energy III, Rangeland Midstream Canada was formed in 2016 to serve oil and gas producers in western Canada.

The firm provides a full suite of midstream services, including oil and gas gathering, processing, terminaling and transportation.
