UK-based oilfield services company Expro International Group has won a contract to provide subsea monitoring equipment for use at the Causeway oilfield in the North Sea for operator Valiant Petroleum.

The contract was awarded by engineering project management company SPD for an undisclosed sum.

Under the terms of the contract, Expro will supply subsea landing-string services to monitor electronic submersible pump completions in the field.

The contract is significant as it provides the opportunity to enhance the existing relationship with SPD and its clients in the North Sea, according to Expro.
