Energy services company Wood Group has received a £500m contract from Canada’s Talisman Energy to provide operations and maintenance services for its offshore assets in Orkney, Scotland.
The services are for Talisman’s UK offshore assets and the Flotta oil terminal.

The contract comes with an option for a further five-year extension.
In addition, Talisman Energy has extended Wood Group’s existing engineering and modifications services contract, which is worth £50m per year, until the end of 2012.
