Kenz Figee, a hoisting and lifting equipment manufacturer for the offshore industry, has entered a partnership agreement with Saudi Drill.

Under this agreement, Kenz Figee’s marine cranes, offshore equipment solutions and services will be represented by Saudi Drill in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Saudi Drill chairman Megren Al Khaldi said: “Kenz Figee’s view is in line with Saudi Aramco IKTVA localising and jobs creation plans. We believe that we will start offering MRO services initially and we hope to fully integrate the manufacturing in this region in the second phase.

“The offshore business segment in Saudi is expanding and are excited to take part in it. There are many local talents that we will rely on to fulfil our ambitious.”

The agreement is expected to support Kenz Figee’s international expansion and strengthen its footprint in providing lifting solutions and services to offshore operators in the Gulf region. Kenz Figee noted that the new partnership will work to help the clients operating in the offshore industry to meet their individual objectives.

Commenting on the partnership, Kenz Figee CEO Jan-Pieter Klaver said: “It reflects our long term commitment to the GCC region, and confirms our confidence in Saudi Drill as our partner as well as the valued relationship with its Chairman Mr Megren Al Khaldi.
