Norwegian offshore service company Solstad Offshore has won vessel charter extensions with Norwegian oil firms Equinor and Aker BP.
Equinor has declared a one-year extension option for the anchor handling vessel Normand Ferking to another year, until November 2021.

Equinor has two more one-year extension options to further extend the charter. The Normand Ferking has been on contract with Equinor since 2007.
Built in 2007, the Normand Ferking is an anchor handling vessel (AHTS).
Furthermore, Aker BP has awarded the Far Solitaire platform supply vessel (PSV) a one-year contract extension, starting on 1 January 2021.
This is part of the frame agreement between Aker BP and Solstad.

By GlobalDataAccording to Solstad, both vessels will continue to support oil and gas activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
Solstad did not disclose the financial value of the contracts.
Last month, Solstad Offshore secured a contract from subsea contractor Ocean Installer for the Normand Vision high-capacity construction support vessel (CSV).
Last November, Solstad Offshore signed a new contract with Equinor for the hire of Normand Ferking.
