Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s state oil and petroleum company, has announced signing crude oil sales agreements for 2020 with five Chinese customers.
The deals increase Aramco’s total sales volumes to China by 151,000 barrels a day (b/d) compared to 2019. Aramco did not mention which Chinese firms it signed the agreements with.
The agreements solidify the company’s position as China’s top crude supplier.
CIIE trade fair
The agreements were signed in Shanghai on the sidelines of the second China International Import Expo (CIIE), the largest trade fair held under the patronage of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
