The largest producers of natural gas in Peru are Pluspetrol Resources Corp, Hunt Consolidated and Repsol. Pluspetrol Resources Corp was the largest producer of natural gas in 2022 with output up by 17% on 2021.

Hunt Consolidated was the second-largest producer, with output up by 17%, and Repsol was third with an increase of 24% on the previous year.

There are 11 natural gas producing fields in Peru of which one are located offshore and the rest onshore. The Piura has the majority of the natural gas fields in the country with six.
