The value marked an increase of 6.3% over the previous quarter and a drop of 26.5% when compared with the last four-quarter average of $91.78bn.

In terms of number of deals, the sector saw a drop of 9.11% with 584 deals in Q3 2022 against the average of 642.50 deals in the last four-quarters.
