1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 54.55% in May 2022, registering a 33.33% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 31.82% share, an increase of 40% over the previous month.

3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 13.64%, registering a 50% decline from April 2022.

Top five oil & gas companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 18.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s oil & gas industry during May 2022 over April 2022.

TotalEnergies posted 13 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 8.33% over the previous month, followed by Air Liquide with 6 jobs and a 40% drop. Roquette Freres with 1 IT job and Arkema with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Syngenta recorded a decline of 50% with 1 job postings during May 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.27%, down by 26.09% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.18% share, registered a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.55% share, down 66.67% over April 2022.
