Amangeldy Conventional Gas Field, Kazakhstan

Amangeldy is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Kazakhstan and is operated by Amangeldy Gas. The field is located in block Amangeldy (Blocks XXXIV-50-D (P) and XXXV-50-A (P)).

The field is owned by National Company KazMunayGas.


Production from Amangeldy

The Amangeldy conventional gas field recovered 69.60% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2009. The peak production was approximately 0.52 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 34 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2035.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 13.83 Mmboe, comprised of 0.64 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 79.14 bcf of natural gas reserves.
