Andrew is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by BP Exploration Operating. The field is located in block 16/27a ANDREW FIELD AREA (CONTRACT AREA 3) and 16/28b ANDREW FIELD AREA, with water depth of 1,250 feet.

An expansion project is associated with the Andrew, namely Andrew Development Project. This project is currently in the feed stage.

The field is owned by BP, China Petrochemical and Repsol.


Production from Andrew

The Andrew conventional oil field recovered 92.00% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1999. The peak production was approximately 69.62 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 73 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2028.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 19.99 Mmboe, comprised of 4.71 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 91.63 bcf of natural gas reserves.
