Bida Al-Qemzan Conventional Oil Field, UAE

Bida Al-Qemzan is a producing conventional oil field located onshore the UAE and is operated by ADNOC Onshore. The field is located in block ADNOC Onshore.

An expansion project is associated with the Bida Al-Qemzan, namely Bida Al-Qemzan Expansion. This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil, BP, Inpex, China ZhenHua Oil, GS Energy, China National Petroleum and TotalEnergies.


Production from Bida Al-Qemzan

The Bida Al-Qemzan conventional oil field recovered 39.54% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2013. The peak production was approximately 22.51 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2070.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 94.54 Mmboe, comprised of 94.54 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Bida Al-Qemzan conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
