Braemar is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by TAQA Bratani. The field is located in block 16/3b ALL and 16/3c ALL, with water depth of 408 feet.

The field is owned by Abu Dhabi National Energy, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, Centrica, Stadtwerke Munchen and Viaro Energy.

Production from Braemar

The Braemar conventional gas field recovered 76.80% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 5.54 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 58 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2046.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 13.9 Mmboe, comprised of 2.35 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 69.32 bcf of natural gas reserves.
