Cheviot is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Alpha Petroleum Resources. Discovered in 1978, Cheviot lies in block 2/10b ALL, 2/15a ALL, 3/11b ALL, and 3/6a ALL, with water depth of around 508 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024. The Cheviot conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately 18 wells and includes FPSO, subsea manifold, and subsea trees.

Production from Cheviot
Production from the Cheviot conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to approximately 28,500 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 52 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 85.5 Mmboe, comprised of 59.85 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 153.91 bcf of natural gas reserves.
