Concession 177 is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Democratic Republic of the Congo and is operated by Muanda International Oil. The field is located in block Concession 177, with water depth of 2,191 feet.

Production from Concession 177

The Concession 177 conventional oil field recovered 98.97% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1984. The peak production was approximately 27.02 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025. The field currently accounts for approximately 40% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 3.02 Mmboe, comprised of 2.14 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 5.3 bcf of natural gas reserves.
