Corcel D is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Colombia and is operated by Frontera Energy Colombia. The field is located in block Corcel and Corcel (Corcel D).

Production from Corcel D

The Corcel D conventional oil field recovered 16.59% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 0.07 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 49 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2048. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 34.02 Mmboe, comprised of 0.24 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 202.68 bcf of natural gas reserves. Corcel D conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
