Dalmatian North is a producing conventional oil field located in ultra-deepwater in the US and is operated by Murphy Exploration & Production. The field is located in block De Soto Canyon 4, with water depth of 5,822 feet.

An expansion project is associated with the Dalmatian North, namely Dalmatian Infill Development . This project is currently in the feasibility stage, expected to start in 2023.

Production from Dalmatian North

The Dalmatian North conventional oil field recovered 46.13% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 9.53 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 10 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 20.75 Mmboe, comprised of 17.23 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 21.12 bcf of natural gas reserves.
