A total of eight contracts were registered in the downstream segment of Europe during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 12 contracts.
In terms of the number of contracts in Europe, the upstream segment contributed the most with 136 contracts in May 2022, followed by midstream and downstream segments with 17 and eight contracts, respectively.

In May 2022, Sweden and the UK led the activity with two contracts and a 25% share each of the downstream oil and gas contracts in Europe. It saw a decrease of 33% over the previous month’s total of three contracts and an increase of 100% when compared with the last 12 month-average of one contract in Sweden, followed by Germany with one contract and a 13% share, followed by Germany with one contract and a 13% share.
