E17a-A is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Netherlands and is operated by Neptune Energy Netherlands. The field is located in block E17a and E17b, with water depth of 151 feet.

Production from E17a-A

The E17a-A conventional gas field recovered 95.57% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2013. The peak production was approximately 0.07 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 109 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2027. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 2.68 Mmboe, comprised of 0.02 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 15.94 bcf of natural gas reserves.
